Edit in PowerPoint

1. Open PowerPoint application.
2. Choose File > Open and locate the .pps file.
3. Save the file as a regular presentation file (.ppt). Or, choose File > Save to save it once again as a PowerPoint show.

Change the file extension (*I test but not works)

1. Right click on the filename, and choose Rename from the shortcut menu.
2. Change the file extension from .pps to .ppt
3. Double click on the new filename and it will open in PowerPoint as a working presentation file.

Sort Results

Click View-> Design View.
In the Customer Age field, click in the Sort row.
When the drop-down arrow appears, click it, then select Ascending.

Click Run. The data will be sort by Customer Age ascending.


Add Criteria

In the query's Customer table, add Customer Type field to the new column.

In the Customer Type field, click in the Criteria row. Type Standard in the cell then Enter.

Customer Table returns customers whose Customer Type is Standard.

Employ the OR operator

In the design view, at the Customer Type field, click in the "or" row under the criterion "Standard".
Type student for new criteria then click Run.

The query results will show all the Customer whose Customer type are either "Standard" or "Student".


Employ the AND operator

In design view, add new field Address in new column.
In the Customer Type field, click in the Criteria row, type Standard.
In the Address field, click in the Criteria row, type KL.

Click Run.
The query result returns customers whose customer type is standard AND address is KL.

Ms Access - Append Data

- to add new records to an existing table by using data from other sources.
-An append query selects records from one or more data sources and copies the selected records to an existing table.

Steps to create append query:

Create a select query

Use query wizard or query design to select data that want to copy. See here.

Convert the select query to an append query

After data is selected, go to design view.
Click on Append icon on the ribbon.

In Append pop up window, choose the destination table & database name. Click OK.

Choose the destination fields for each column (or select * for all fields) in the append query.


In some cases, Access automatically chooses the destination fields for you.

Preview and run the query to append the records.
An confirmation message will be pop up, click yes.

Create Macro

In the Create tab, in the group Other, click in Macro command, then Macro menu item.
The Macro definition panel will appears

Select the OpenForm action.

Configure the OpenForm arguments.
A condition specifies certain criteria that must be met before an action will be performed. You can use any expression to evaluate to true or false or Yes or No the expression and execute or not some commands based in these results.


*If you use Datasheet for the View argument, Access displays the result set if the query is a select, crosstab, union, or pass-through query whose ReturnsRecords property is set to Yes; and it runs the query if it is an action, data-definition, or pass-through query whose ReturnsRecords property is set to No.

Create queries

There are two ways to create queries:

i) Using Query Wizard

In the Create tab, click Query Wizard icon.

New Query window will appear, select Simple Query Wizard.
Click OK.

When the Simple Query Wizard opens, double-click Customer Name in the Available Fields list.
Customer Name should appear in the Selected Fields column:

Repeat above steps if you wan to add more field for query.

Type Name & Age for title, click Finish.


To switch to design view, click on "Name & Age" (query) tab, Go to View->Design View.

To switch to SQL view, Go to View->SQL View.

For Datasheet View, Go to View->Datasheet View.


ii) Using Query Design

In the Create tab, click Query Design icon.

In the Show Table tab, select Customer table, click Add. Then close the box. Customer table will be appear.

Drag Customer Name (table field) to the first column. Continue with other field that need in the query.

In the Design tab, click Run.

The query shows the Customer Name & Customer Age of each customer in the Customers table in datasheet view.

Crosstab Queries

- presents summary information in a compact format that is similar to a spreadsheet.
- can present a large amount of summary data in a format that is usually simpler to analyse than viewing the information in a database form.
- Each attribute (field) in a table typically contains a category of data. A crosstab query summarizes the data from one or more of these fields that are separated into groups based on one or more fields.

1.
将红豆及花生洗净，用水泡 2小时，倒掉水，然后放小锅里，加300毫升水浸盖，中火煮30分钟，关火。保留煮豆汤。莲子用水泡2小时，捞出。把莲芯去掉。红枣洗净，去核。葡萄干洗净。

糯米及黑米淘净，泡2小时，沥出。
3.
取一个大汤锅，放入红豆，花生及煮豆汤，莲子，红枣，葡萄干，糯米，黑米，松子仁，2000毫升水，用大火煮开。横放两根筷子在锅上，将锅盖放在筷子上，把火调至中偏小，煮1小时20分钟，其间，用勺偶尔搅一下，以免粘锅。加冰糖，稍搅，小火煮30分钟即好。

猪板油 20克 制作方法
　　
1.
将糯米淘净，放在冷水中泡五小时，捞出沥干，松松地放入笼屉（笼内垫有薄布），用旺火蒸熟成糯米饭，倒入适当的容器中，加入白糖、熟猪油、开水，拌和备用。
2.
取小碗5只，碗底抹上猪油，把蜜枣、桂圆、糖莲子、瓜子仁、松子仁、红绿瓜丝等在碗底按图案排列后，放入少许糯米饭，再入豆沙，最后把糯米饭填满至碗口，揿平，上笼屉用旺火蒸约1小时时，使糖油渗入饭中。
3.
蒸好后倒覆于盘中即成。如蒸好后不马上进食，可冷放，食时回蒸。

飲食5迷思

迷思1：糙米飯的熱量較白飯低，所以吃糙米飯有助減肥。

真相1：其實糙米飯和白飯的熱量差不多，分別是150和160卡路里，惟糙米飯所含的纖維素和微量元素較多。


迷思2：不吃正餐，改吃餅乾之類的食物也可減肥。

真相2：事實是本末倒置，因為餅乾是點心而非正餐。舉例，吃三塊餅乾加一杯熱飲只是點心，不是正餐，因此無法應付身體的需要。肚子很快就餓，若再吃三塊餅乾，餓了再吃三塊，結果攝取的熱量比吃正餐更高，根本無助減肥。有些餅乾含有南瓜子、麥片等，仍含有脂肪。無論是甚麼食品或飲品，少了脂肪就會加入糖，熱量不會少太多，因此適量吃就好。


迷思3：堅果沒有膽固醇，多吃都沒關係。

真相3：沒有膽固醇不代表沒有脂肪和熱量，堅果的熱量和脂肪尤其高，一週吃30克左右即可，且宜挑沒有添加鹽分的。30克的份量大約是用手掌捉一把，手掌大者就要捉少一點，才不會吃過量。


迷思4：吃燕麥片可以降低膽固醇。

真相4：燕麥片不是神丹妙藥，即使每天吃也不一定能完全降低膽固醇。高膽固醇者若要依賴燕麥片減少膽固醇，必須配合低脂、低膽固醇和高纖維的飲食原則，加上定期運動，才能有效地降低膽固醇，否則徒然。


迷思5：有機食物比較有營養。

真相5：若從營養學而言，有機食物不是特別有營養，只是不含農藥，有經濟能力者吃有機食物無妨。至於亞麻籽油含有的營養對眼睛有益的說法，目前還沒有科學根據，適量食用就好。（資料來源：營養師伍卉苓）

ii) Click on a cell (the location where drop down list will be created)
iii) Click on “Data” Tab -> Data Validation option.



iv) Click on “Setting” Tab in dialog box.
v) Choose “List” from Allow menu.



vi) Click on the button at Source line.
vii) Drag list of data needed in spreadsheet.



viii) Click OK in dialog box.
ix) A down arrow will appear beside cell. Done.

"San" is a title of respect added to a name. (so it can not be used when referring to oneself.)
"Wa" and "o" are particles. They are like English prepositions, but they always come after nouns.

Composing questions in Japanese is just by adding the particle "ka" at the end. Question marks are not used in Japanese.
